I am appalled and how long it took me to read this book. This book is amazing! The story is engaging, the characters are multi-dimensional, and the surprise kink? Holy hotness! I have no words. These two has officially become one of my favorite author duos.I don't want to spoil anything because I went into this blind and I'm so happy I did. Forgive me for being so vague.This book is really cute considering that it has politicians being politicians. I'm not the biggest fan of politics in romance but it worked so well here. I think the fact that it's local government makes it a little more digestible for me. The romance in this book was also believable and it progressed beautifully. The pacing in this book and character development is superb. There is a lot of smut in this book but not once did it drag. It stayed hot.This book is cute, sexy, and so decadent. Thank God there is a second book otherwise I would be suffering from some severe hangover. I will say that if you're concerned about the surprise kink, It comes up quickly so you can make the decision if you're here forward or not without wasting time. Personally I didn't see it coming, and was super into it. The first chapter does kind of give it away if you look close enough too. Give it a chance is all I ask because I promised this book is worth it. 10 stars because I loved every second of this.
