Lem shows up and has a news video for Cade to watch. Cade knows he needs to protect Marlow. He makes one demand of Lem and that is to find Marlow, no matter what. But Lem has a point, does Cade want to risk everything for a guy he hardly knows?There’s also decisions that need to be made. Marlow is very dedicated to being Night Shift and he has to weigh the options. What is he willing to give up for the man he’s continued to make a special connection with?With still lots of investigation, is anyone willing to help Cade and Marlow as they start to dig deeper into the killing and who is really in control Piper or Franklin?“Shiftless” is the final book from TA Moore for the “Night Shift” series. As always, it’s fast paced action, and a very complex investigation.Cade and Marlowe, also work on that long awaited connection. Cades vulnerable side comes through even more in this last installment.Again, Lem is quite the character, he can have his serious moments but he brings lot’s of banter and fun to the story.I highly recommend reading: “Shift Work” and “Split Shift” before “Shiftless” as the first two novels are cliff hangers and pick up right where the previous leaves off.I hate that this had to end and I wish there was more to come with this action packed, quirky, paranormal, fun trilogy. But, I know TA Moore will bring something new and exciting to the world of reading!
